Scientific Systems, established in November 2000, is a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Scientific research, development, design and analysis consultancy. Scientific Systems' establishment was driven by a strong demand for a multi-disciplinary organisation that could provide not only turn-key solutions and concept-to-operation projects, but also develop bespoke and application-specific solutions for the integration of disparate systems. This demand was fuelled by the rapid growth in availability of low-cost, high performance, Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) modules and sub-systems.
In the intervening 20+ years Scientific Systems has delivered a range of projects across multiple sectors, including: communications systems, automotive and manufacturing, biological and medical systems, public technology infrastructure, etc. along with a number of solutions for niche and highly specialised enterprises. The diversity of these projects over the years has enabled Scientific Systems to acquire a broad range of equipment, facilities, and talent, which coupled with over 60 years experience of its principals and close associates, underpins the ability to solve and resolve almost any scientific or technical problem or challenge.
In today's technologically advanced world, it is rare for any substantial system to be composed of a single manufacturer's devices. Almost exclusively multiple specialised devices or modules are required from different manufacturers. Scientific Systems does not sell or resell any third party components or systems and therefore is able to provide truly independent guidance on the performance and suitability of third-party or COTS equipment and modules from different manufacturers.
Scientific Systems' true commercial independence, combined with many years of technical and commercial experience, ensures that its solutions are technically and commercially second-to-none.
